Friday, August 21st marked a very special occasion as we celebrated 40 years of trading with a fantastic anniversary event at our head office in Kilby Bridge.
The celebration brought together more than 150 driving instructors, industry partners, manufacturers and members of our team for an afternoon of food, entertainment and plenty of opportunities to catch up with friends and colleagues from across the driving industry.
We were delighted to welcome a fantastic selection of industry partners, including the MSA, Acclaim Driving School, Hughes Driver Training, FBTC Accountancy, Backstage ADI Solutions, Green Penny, Mobility in Motion, Intelligent Instructor and Dash Claims.
Our manufacturer partners were also out in force, with stands representing Ford, Toyota, Lexus, BYD, Hyundai and the Volkswagen Group. Their presence gave instructors the opportunity to explore the latest vehicles, products and services available to the industry.
Guests were treated to a hog roast, pizzas and a fully stocked bar, while everyone attending also received a special goodie bag packed with gifts to mark the occasion.
The entertainment got underway from 3.30pm, with live music from Dan Butterworth, followed by an energetic performance from 2HD, who kept the celebrations going until 8pm.
A highlight of the afternoon was our anniversary raffle, with the winning ticket selected at 4pm using a random number generator. Ticket CAC2155 was chosen, making Jamie Wesson of Parrot Blue Driving School our lucky winner.
Jamie shared his reaction after the event:

The event was a wonderful way to celebrate four decades of trading, while recognising the instructors, partners, manufacturers and customers who have helped make the journey possible. Here’s to the next 40 years!
