The Scottish Government have just announced two new funds that will be worth up to £60m in additional support for those unable to work due to lockdown and coronavirus restrictions

The two funds are as follows:

Mobile and Home-Based Close Contact Services Fund

Newly Self Employed Hardship Fund

They’re both free to apply and if you are eligible you will receive a 1 off payment of £4,000.

The first grant - Mobile and Home-Based Close Contact Services Fund is for people who were working as a self-employed ADI in Scotland before the 17th of March 2020 and have lost income as a result of coronavirus restrictions and lockdown in Scotland.

The second grant - Newly Self Employed Hardship Fund is for people who were ineligible for the UK Governments Self Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS) due to being newly self employed.

Both funds deadlines for application is the 16th of March 2021
